Unable 2 delete an app on iPad 2 w/most recent IOS update

Hello & HEEEEELLLLLPPPPP! I have a clock app that I DL'd myself the I cannot delete. I am able 2 make it do the shaky thing but i never get the "x" thingy to allow me to delete it. I have rebooted several times but alas & alack no joy. Can someone help?

If it's this one, you won't be able to delete it, it comes with the iPad. Like Mails, Calendar, ...

Yes, it is that one.......Strange, I truly thought I DL'd that one myself.....well, no worries! At least I have an answer.

Hi WonderWoman69. Seems like you may have needed some help. J. A. Above is right. It's a built-in app and can't be deleted. But if it bothers you to look at it, you can slide it on to a subsequent screen so you no longer have to see it on the home screen. Just get it to shake again like you did before and then hold and slide it to the RHS edge of the screen and that clock app will move into the next (or even further) screen away.
