I'm visiting my dad's home country of Vietnam in a few weeks and I was wondering if they were any users who's been to VN/have experience using an iPad there. I will be in Ho Chi Min City and Nha Trang
I'm not going to bring a laptop as it's pretty old and heavy so I'm hoping to use my iPad as my source to update my friends via Facebook and email/Facetime on the 3G networks and wifi at the hotel.
Does anyone know what carrier/company to use to get the best coverage there?
I bought my iPad from a BestBuy from the US - Do I need to do anything further to make sure the 3G/LTE is usable abroad? I haven't activated a data plan yet since I've been at home in wifi most of the time.
