Greetings,

I have original iPad 64Gb with 3G.
I want to use it in India but am ignorant on what to do to make it compatible with 3G cellular there.

Must I call ATT to unlock it?
Is there something about SIM cards in India telcoms being different size?

Thanks for any directions that can be provided.

Since you have an AT&T iPad, when you get to India, call the cellular data provider where you are in India. You have to buy that provider's sim card and install it in your iPad. Keep your American AT&T iPad sim in a safe place, in order to re-install it when you return to the USA.

Take lots of pictures and share!

Matt
