Things could have been so different. The Amiga was a great piece of equipment, but got off to a slow start for some reason. By the time it gained a hard drive and a decent processor the PC had become established.

Perhaps if Commodore had been stronger on marketing a certain company from Redmond could have been kept out of the computer world and the world would have been a better place. Maybe there is a parallel universe where Apple and Commodore are the main players and Windows was never invented. I'd like to live there.

I'm just commenting. We had a family get together yesterday. Our nieces, on my wife's side, who are here - on holiday / at English School / married to an English man - came over.

It was a perfect day, the weather, the company, and everyone's happiness.

Just watched the apple Keynote, new iphone 5, ipods with new colours and new itunes. No new imac or ipad mini.

Last weekend I saw this apple Bose computer in a shop, not for sale just display. It is from 1996 so definitely got slashed and burned along with newton when Steve jobs took over in 1997. Any one here familiar with this apple model? The guy said it used an old os but didn't know much else
