Tethering my ipad 2

HI help I'm trying to use my iPad 2 through my htc sensation xl hotspot and the iPad finds it but won't let me browses or use the Internet help

Make sure you have tethering access enabled through your mobile carrier.

Can't imagine it's the iPad at fault... assuming you're connecting to the wifi OK.

Make sure your Bluetooth connections are on both phone and iPad. This is assuming you have tethering with your carrier. They should see each other and ask to pair.

I have tethering it lets other mobile phones do it but not my iPad or laptop,
