syncronizing

all of a sudden i plug my ipad 1 in to sync it and i get nothing from Itunes but a couple of blooploop sounds. it is charged at 100%. so what is the problem?

Any extra sync cables to try?

First steps, Restart the computer. Restart the iPad. Try again.

Restarting the iPad: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears
