simple quickoffice question

Hello, first post. I've tried searching but don't see anything. In Excel, you can highlight a few cells and see their sum at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Quickoffice Pro HD doesn't seem to have this functionality. Has anyone found a quick way to be able to find the sum of a group of cells without having to insert formulas into a new cell? TIA.

this is a good question.
I tried it in numbers, and QuickOffice Pro HD, and DocsToGo and Office2HD but I failed. Maybe it is too obvious to achieve, but sorry I couldn't do it, either.
