Serial number is wrong

hi newbie poster here, I had an iPad2 for 3 weeks & I dropped it
Apple talked me through doing a back up & said when my new one arrived to restore from back up & all would be good. New iPad arrived today I plugged it in & did the restore from back up but its still registered under the old serial number, how do I get the serial number changed?

You will need to contact Apple about this and they will fix it.

Hi SewingFairy-Sorry to hear about your initial ipad, but so happy that your new one has come in! As Leelai, said-calling Apple will certainly help resolve your issue! Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get your 2nd ipad up and running!! Good luck!

Thanks for the reply guys, I will ring them on Monday morning & get it all sorted. Certainly made 4hrs of cricket more entertaining this morning have the iPad to take along LOL!!!

Thank goodness you did have your iPad. Unless its a one day game, cricket for me is as exciting as watching grass grow!
