screen frozen while showing Apple.com

Can't get screen to show anything except ad for I pad pro.

Force close the app (I guess it's Safari?):
Double tap the Home button to show the app switcher, then slide the thumbnail towards the top of the screen.

Also clear history and website data in Settings - Safari.
