Rogue invitation in IOS Calendar

Have a rogue invitation that appeared about 2 days ago for an invitation from my son March 7, 2012. I can't see the invite in the calendar, only when I press the invitation button at the top off the screen, however, it does notify me on the calendar icon. Anyone know how to delete this?
