I searched and read a few posts here and there about resizing photos for emailing and did not find anything positive. I found that you can tap the the arrow top right and then email and you will get the email page along with the photo. Here at the right of cc/bcc line you should see 'Images:...' and size. Tap there and a choice of four sizes will be given. Tap the one you want and it resizes automatically. I think too, if you are working with an album it will resize all in the album which is what I wanted in my first experience with photos in my New iPad... only 3 days old!!!
