Removing apps

When. I find apps I do not want I delete them. Are they still on the IPad. How can I remove them completely or is that not necessary. Joyce

Once you delete an app from your iPad,it's no longer on your iPad,but is still in your purchased list in iTunes and can be downloaded again at any time if you change your mind and want the app again.If it was a paid app,you do not have to pay again.
