Removing apps

s impossible to remove some of the front page apps which come with iPad?
eg. I don't think I will veer want to use newsstand. Can it be removed? If so. how?

While it is possible to hide some of the stock iPad Apps through Restrictions, the Newstand is not one of them. Have a look here at what other members are doing

Thanks. I've at least managed to move it off my front page!

Also, what a lot of people do is put all the unwanted, stock apps into a folder and then they put a folder onto the last page of the springboard. Prevents having to look at it all the time. That's where my iTunes icon/app is ... and the Newstand icon.

Thank goodness we can hide/move them, yeah?
