Remote Desktop Services and Printing

With Windows 2008R2, terminal services is a thing of the past. Now with Remote Desktop Services the landscape has changed. The problem that we are trying to solve is to connect to a Remote Desktop Session, use an application, and be able to print from that application via an iPad/iPhone to a local wireless printer.

The wireless printers are capable of being printed to via the print on the iPad. Some situations they are available to the local network, and others they have been connected via a VPN session.

We are looking at all solutions to solve this problem.

Ignoring @SophiaLawrence who seems to have hijacked this thread , I'm not sure what you are asking would be possible unless the iPad was on the same network as the printer and so you would really be printing from the desktop application.

You could cut and paste the doc into a printing app on the iPad, or use iCloud or Dropbox to transfer the doc to the iPad for printing.

I could be wrong though :s

You can also try DocSync.Net app to transfer files from your computer to iPad and then can print it.
