Question about iPad 2 charger

I noticed right away that my new iPad 2 charger is larger and 10 watts. My iPhone 4 charger is smaller (maybe 5 watts?).

Can I safely charge my iPhone with the iPad charger if I need to use it? Will it cause any damage to the iPhone?

You absolutely can! And as a bonus it will charge way faster then usual. I have used my iPad 1 charger to charge a old iPod Touch.
