Whilst on holiday I upgraded to IOS 7.0.2. Since then I've had a few issues which I'd like to resolve.

1. In some of the aps my keyboard return key is in a foreign language, not always the same one! It's not too much of a problem, as I know what it's supposed to display, but it would be nice to get back to normal.

2. With the previous operating systems, any open aps could be deleted by holding down an icon, then deleting them. Now this doesn't happen. When I hold down an icon, it just opens it up. HELP please! It's driving me nuts, having so many aps open, even ads etc which my finger accidentally hits! I'm not referring to the home screen, just when I slide up.

Welcome to iPadForums :)

We hope you enjoy your stay here with us.

Please take the time to read and abide by the forum rules

1) Possible bug from the Greek keyboard addition in iOS 7.0.2 though it's only suppose to affect the lockscreen.

2) If you're referring to the task manager/multitasker, after opening up the multitasker (double tapping home button), you'll be presented with several portraits of running apps. The old method of removing them from the multitasker is to hold on them until they jiggle and delete using the little button. iOS 7, you have to slide up the portrait up to close them out.

Hello Beat Bug and welcome to the forum. Excellent advice by willerz2 above, who just beat me to it because I am too blasted slow!
With any major firmware upgrade like we have just had, the important thing to do is to first read the manual. Even with a new toaster you shouldn't operate it without reading the instructions:)
Here's a link to some reading on what drives our iPads.
http://support.apple.com/manuals/
Re your questions:
1) Go to Settings>General>Keyboards and tap a keyboard language of your choice
2) Double click on the Home screen which will open up the apps you have used in the task bar below....as before. But now you'll see each icon has a small screen above it. To remove the app just place your finger on that screen picture and slide upwards to delete it.
Yes, the new system is much more fun...more finger sliding than finger tapping;)
Regards, Andrew

Many thanks for your help. I should have read the manual, but then again, I wouldn't have looked for help and found here!
