problem with mail??

my iPad and iPhone are both jail broken.
they are both having issues sending emails thru "mail"
messages will sit in the outbox and not send.
seems like this occurs when I have an attachment included.
anyone have any suggestions?

I've tried deleting and readding accts. I use gmail and have them as up as an exchange accounts.

When you set up gmail as an exchange account you have to manually enter the server. Just google it to get the server addresses.
