Email sending problem

Hi I just recently purchased an ipad 2 and only just tried to send an email from my nominated aol acct.

The first message had a picture attachment and was sent to my outbox. Despite hitting refresh it wont send. There is a ed exclamation mark beside the message.

I then sent a regular email which wouldn't even go to the outbox but instead a message flashed up saying no relaying.

Any help ( in laymans terms ) would be much appreciated.

Have you double-checked the name, address and password you entered to set up the Aol account?
