Hello all,
I have replaced the digitizer on an ipad mini retina display. The screen came pre-installed with the home button. After plugging in the new LCD, and digitizer, I found that the LCD backlight would turn on, but there is absolutely no picture being displayed. It is completely black. i have tried restarting the device, unplugging the battery and LCD, and still no response. If anyone else has found a solution for this issue, please leave feedback, it would be greatly appreciated.

First, I'm assuming that this is a fairly new iPad, so why did you need to replace the digitizer (e.g. damage)? Second, was this replaced by Apple under warranty? Third, I'm not understanding your description of 'plugging in the new LCD' - what does that mean? You'll need to better clarify what is happening w/ your iPad? Dave
