Outlook password to be set

Just received my IPad 4 through my company. Everything is working well, however I would like to set up a password for my outlook only. In other words, when clicking on the mail icon, I want to be prompted to enter a password.

Unfortunately, that isn't possible on a stock iPad. There is no way to set a password on just the Mail app.

If you were to jailbreak that iPad, then yes, there are several tweaks available where you can set a password on your Mail app (and others ... and folders, too).

But, no, nothing can be done like that on a stock iPad. Sorry.

My, that's a loaded question.
