So so many disasters on black days, although one of our very bad bush fire days was called Ash Wednesday as it happened on the Christian Ash Wednesday .....

It is strange but quite good that a black day can also be a good day!

And I think Black Humour does fit in there somewhere! ;)

It's still December 12 back here so....

In 1961 the first amateur/private citizen designed satellite was launched and reached orbit. it was launched 'piggyback' with another satellite. This private designed satellite broadcast the word 'Hi' in Morse Code (.... ..) 10 times each minute - or about once every 6 seconds, and made over 300 orbits before re-entering the atmosphere
