I need to connect my Ipad 2 to a computer at work to transfer pdf files but the company does not allow Itunes on their computers. When I connect with a USB to use as a disk drive (in My Computer) it does not recognise the device at all. What should I do?
Thanks Belinda

Dropbox is a very good option. But if you are not allowed to use the service, try goodreader and use its wifi function to transfer your files to the iPad. And - by the way - goodreader is good for a lot of things.

DropBox can be accessed via the website, which would avoid the need to install software on the work computer if that is prohibited.

For better control of DropBox on the iPad, you can use GoodReader to connect to your DropBox account. That will allow you to copy multiple files and folders at the same time.

Box.net can also be used this way.
