Odd - Happen to Anyone Else?

I had a strange thing happen on my iPad this weekend when I did a sync to the computer... after it was completed I pressed the button to go to the home screen and ALL of my apps had been REMOVED from their folders?? It made for like 10 pages of apps all mixed up.. It would not be so bad but I have over 200 apps!!! YIKES! I spent a couple hours getting them put back (I am an organize freak!). Hope this doesn't happen again.

Try this link from a thread I posted last month. I had to do this yesterday after installing iOS 5 beta. It works great.

Thanks for the link. I had seen this post previously, but for some reason the process seemed quite convoluted to me. It's a bug, and a nasty one, especially for those of us that have many apps. Fortunately, it does not happen all the time. The iOS folder system needs serious work IMHO, unless you have only a few apps that is. I often prefer not to use Spotlight.

Hopefully, some of this will get sorted out in the fall.
