Not all photos in photo stream

For example, I took 14 photos yesterday and 11 went into photo stream. The 3 missing ones were not first or last but randomly in the list.
Any ideas why?

Are the 3 missing ones you took in a place without wi-fi? Photo Stream only works with wi-fi.

There are a few options you could also try:
You need to have more than 20 % battery for Photo Stream to work. Charge your iPad in case there's not enough.
Close the Camera app: double tap the Home button to reveal the multitask bar and delete the Camera icon there.
Restart your iPad (turn it off and on again).
Reset it (press and hold Home and Power button until the Apple logo appears).
Also: give Photo Stream a little time to sync all your photos.

Do you have 2 or more devices?

If yes.......

Ok, on what device did you took photos? If one of your device is not connected to wi-fi, connect it. Also keep in mind that if one of your devices is at 20%, it won't work.

Also, try backing-up or device using iCloud. Then it may sync data.
