No sounds in Words With Friends

We had to replace an Ipad2 because of a cracked screen. The new Ipad2 has no notification sound in Words With Friends. Any ideas. We have checked all settings we can think of.

Have you gone to your setting to check to see if your side switch is on for mute?

Verify :
Settings / general / side switch/uncheck mute option.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, the mute is off and locked. We have sound on other apps, just this game and the keyboard are quiet.

Known bug.

From general settings set side switch from autorotate to mute.

Now mute the iPad from the switch.

Now unmute the iPad from the switch.

Now test in game sounds. They should be working again.

Known bug.

Now test in game sounds. They should be working again.

It was great to read that! I have been tearing my hair out for weeks after I lost sound in all my game apps. Your fix restored my sound immediately. Thank you, thank you, thank you..........
