No sound :( new girl

Hi and welcome to the Forum!
Regarding your sound issue, can we have more info on it please. Were you in an app when it started or had you been playing music with earphones etc. also what version is your iPad on. Have a look here Settings - General - About. Look for Version in the list and tell us what it says there.

Julie, could be many things, can we have more info. Which iPad, what iOS, is it jail broken, what app were you using when it happened......etc.
I take it you've tried the volume button at side of iPad, check in settings......general......sounds What does it say in there?

Thank you for info and tips. I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. Version 5.0.1 I was watching a show on Hulu+ when the sound went out. What I did was turn off iPad and turn it back on. Sound came back on. I will take some time to read manual. Thanks for being there! iPad is amazing.
