No AirPlay icon on iPad2 and 4S iPhone

Hi,
I updated my iPod2 - 3G and my 4S iPhone yesterday to ios6. Since then I can not get them to connect with AirPlay to my Apple TV. They don't even show the AirPlay icon anymore. I shut them both down, restarting didn't solve the problem!!!! I'm glad I didn't updated my wife's iPad so that I can still stream my music with hers!!!!! (I have all my music in iTunes Match)

Airplay Access

Try looking in the dock tray where the volume and brightness controls are. You should now find it there.

Hi, after restarting my router twice the AirPlay icon was back, oef!!!!!
