Hello Sandra... - welcome to the forum!

First, you need to tell us what kind of printer(s) you now own or are planning to purchase? AirPrint is Apple's Wi-Fi technology that allows your iPad to print wirelessly IF the printer is compatible w/ AirPrint - check HERE for a list of printers that offer that feature.

Second, if you already have a printer(s) that is not AirPrint compatible, then other options exist (and a number of links and suggestions have been already given) - for myself, I use FingerPrint to print via Wi-Fi to my Canon inkjet & Brother laser printers.
