New to ipad

I have been left a 32gb Ipad in a friends will. How do I change the registered user as there is no manual with it. Also how do I change the service provider. I would like to start exploring the Ipad. I will uae it principally for my work in healthcare

You can do a reset of the device and register your own account with iTunes.
