New Ipad issue with screen flicker and random button pushing

I need help. My new IPad keeps having an issue where it will start pushing buttons and zooming my screen in and out randomly. I push the home button, it goes back to my home screen and then freezes. I have to turn off my display then turn it back on to get it to work again. I have tried everything from soft reset, hard reset with ICloud backup restore and hard reset to factory default and nothing has solved my problem. Any ideas on what could be causing this or any possible solutions?

We've seen a couple of those, including one rather scary video of an iPad doing its own thing. Almost definitely a hardware fault. You should take it to the Apple Store for advice, and hopefully, replacement.

Though, if you are using a third party charger when this happens, try unplugging the iPad and see if the problem goes away.

I am not using a third party charger and it does it whether or not it is plugged in. I will take it in to the Apple store.

I also have intermittent screen flicker problems. Genius bar said it was software, did a 100% reset. Ie. software and firmware. Seemed ok but after a few days it returned. Tok it back and they exchanged the iPad for a brand new one.
That was yesterday. It happened again last night so problem is highly unlikely to be in the hardware. I play two games.... Words for friends and CSR racing. I have closed all apps and now work only with emails (as usual) and just CSR racing. I will monitor progress eliminating/proving one app at a time. Anyone else any experience with these two apps.

Ah, funny, I just experienced the same problem playing CSR racing.

So I googled CSR racing flickering and other people are experiencing similar issues.
