New iPad 3 user

Hello everybody,

My name is Lina. I just bought an iPad 3 (16Gb, wifi with cellular) with retina display few days ago and this is my first apple product ever. I was planning to buy an iPad air but the shop doesn't have the stock and I'm not bothered to wait since I'm so excited to own an iPad. Lol.

The main reason i buy an iPad is because i would like to use it for my typing work. I'm a writer (currently focusing on screenplay and planning to write novels after this). I use Final Draft for my script writing and Final Draft is only available for laptop and ipad user.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as my main phone and i have another tablet which is Motorola Xoom (2 yrs old and mainly used for playing games since i bought a lot of paid games on that account).

I spend my free time with reading online for my upcoming project, watch movies or chat with my friends.

I also have an iPad3 and thoroughly enjoy it. There's nothing I need to do with a tablet that this pretty well-built Apple device with retina screen can't handle.
There are lots of people here happy to attempt to answer any questions you may have. So don't hesitate to ask anything about your iPad. Check out the sub-forums for further knowledge as well as our Off Topic area for loads of fun.
