New iPad 2 keeps rebooting

My week old iPad2 was constantly rebooting.
I looked at the Diagnostics and this is what it said:

Strangely, since I closed down all open Apps, the iPad seems to be working properly now. Is it possible that having too many open apps could cause my iPad to crash.

i think so because it crashes when too many apps are running

The refresh rate for your RAM probably isn't kicking in fast enough, or you have too much cached at once. The ~305MB allocated for app caching is taken up pretty quickly.
