New guy want's an iPad where to get it from

Looking to buy my first tablet (iPad) but had a question on where to get it from.
Looking for the 4gen 16gb Wi-Fi only
It looks like they are starting around $499 and up (depending on seller) on Amazon shipped.

My question is does Apple have any problems warranting it from Amazon or even eBbay?

I am not sure about Apple but I thought some "big" companies say it must be purchased from approved venders. Not sure if that is BS or not.

Welcome to the forum. Apple's warranty goes with the iPad regardless of where it comes from. I'm not entirely sure but I would think the warranty would begin when you activate the iPad (if it is bought new). If you get it used the warranty will already be ticking away but will still cover the iPad.
