New and in need of help!

Have had my iPad for several years and had no problems but in the last week several games have stopped working and yesterday couldn't even get my email. Any suggestions about 1. What might have gone wrong and 2. Where can I get expert help?

Have you tried restarting your ipad? Press and hold the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears, then release both buttons. When the ipad restarts, is the problem still there?

Have you also checked to see how much available storage you have? Your iPad would be having issues if there was little or no available storage.

Also...what version of iPad do you have? The original iPad had only 256 MB so it is best close out your apps and free up your ram.

In addition, what version of iOS are your running.

Welcome to the iPF board. I think that problem could be solved by just a quick device reboot as sometimes when such abnormal behavior is seen because of malfunctioning of setting so it is best advised to restart the device so that device can take new fresh setting from the start.
