Need info on apple ID account

I recently sold my iPad 2 on a selling site but I've just had a msg back from the buyer
I really have no clue! Please could someone help me with what to reply to him?
When I sold it I did a reset on it so it went back to like a new iPad with nothing on it

Here is his msg:

hI I RECIEVED THE IPAD AND ALL IS GOOD
HOWEVER ITUNES IS REQUESTING THAT I AUTHORISE THE PC
AND TO DO SO I NEED THE PASSWORD TO THIS APPLE ID .

The buyer does not need YOUR Apple ID. He/she just needs to set that iPad up as new using his own Apple ID. There may be some remnants left on it from your time with it, but everything should be easily replaceable with his. At the worst, the person can restore that iPad to new, fresh-out-of-the-box condition (using iTunes).

Under no circumstances do you need to (or should you) give that person your Apple ID and password (!). They don't need it.
