i'm getting together a playlist of great rock music,i would love some suggestions please.

What kind, mainstream, soft metal, prog, what?

I like old school rock such as Rainbow and Whitesnake,huge Guns n Roses fan,i also like some of today's bands such as Bon Jovi,I'm open to suggestions though,I'm sure theres some good stuff out there i haven't heard yet,for instance i discovered Foo Fighters "Walk" and love it.

Goree Carter is "older" school. "Rock Awhile" was released in 1949. It's plain to hear what influenced Chuck Berry.

thanks guys,a few there i might not know,just downladed a great app to my iPhone that lets you play music and even download it free and legally so i will be able to listen to some of those.....really good app,in itunes too.
