Scifan.. - assume that you changed planes in Toronto - how was the experience? On our last visit in 2017, going through 'automated' customs and getting our luggage checked was terribly long and frustrating - just one of the worst airport experiences that we've had recently. But I was curious and found this SITE w/ a 3/10 rating from 400+ customers who visited Toronto Pearson Airport - not sure what the plans may be for improvements or even a new airport? Dave

Changing planes was easy as there was no customs involved. I just got off the first plane and walked to the gate where the second plane was to depart from. The baggage was checked through to the final destination.

In regards to the CSS Acadia, it was a hydrographic services vessel and retired from active duty in 1969. It was coal fired until the end. I don’t imagine many ships stokers were still shovelling coal into the boilers in the late sixties.

The church I attended when I was posted to CFB Halifax 37 years ago.
It’s one of four Lutheran churches in Nova Scotia. There’s one more in Halifax, one in Dartmouth and one in Lunenburg.
