I updated, so far so good. Completed a customer request (for a krakel) and got another skinny krakel request, so it doesn't look like they fixed that yet.

The new monsters are similar to the treasure monsters with 6 types under the special tab. I suspect they will only be available for berries though. I was one of the few that got a treasure monster with coins after the first update when they were introduced, but I've never seen any on sale for coins since - only 30 or 40 berries.
