I have been handed down a used ipad, it has a collection of books and apps which I would like to preserve.
Since ipad is allowed only one library, please advise on how a merge can be achieved.
You can't. The apps (and any books that were not free) are associated with the account that bought them. There is no way to transfer ownership of those books and and apps to your account.
