Making online payments on ipad outside the apple store

Pls can anyone assist with a way to make web payments on iPad outside the apple store as I always get an error message from all sites without payments being authorised. I'm I supposed to load an application or web engine to do this?

You need to be within 3G (if your iPad is 3G enabled) or wifi range. Also, I'd advice doing it from home as your connection will be safe and secure. Also, web payments can consist and exist in several shapes and forms. What exactly are you trying to do and who with? More info.

3G is pretty secure, possibly more secure than your home network (lots of variety in home networks). Public (open) wi-fi is a big risk, especially if you don't know exactly who owns and offers the connection. Do nothing sensitive on these networks.

Everything else depends on the site you are trying to make payments through. I've used my iPad to make eBay payments though PayPal many a time.
