Mail app???

My mail app on my iPad doesn't rotate it just stays in portrait. Does anybody have a clue on how to fix it??

I don't see any way to change the Mail app, to not rotate. Do other app rotate OK? If they do rotate OK, then try the old standby. Try a reset. Close all apps then - Hold down the HOME, bottom button, and the SLEEP, top button, for about 10 seconds until the Apple icon appears, then release buttons. Allow it to reboot, it may take a few minutes, don't panic like I did, wait for it to reboot. Cures many weird problems on iOS devices.

Make sure you haven't inadvertently engaged the screen rotation lock
Look up in the upper right corner of the screen and see if there is a lock in a circular arrow there
If there is screen rotation is locked
How you unlock it will depend on which version of iOS you are running under

Thanks. I got it now. I just shut it off then back on again. Everything is brandy.
