longer search option?

when you single click the home button whilst on the home screen you get the search option. this search is great for searching out previous calenda and diary entrys, but it only goes back about 1 or 2 months. can this be extended to search back through all my entries? to search back indefinately?

as far as I know it should search everything on the iPad.

Could it be that you only have the calendar set to sync the last 1 or 2 months? check the calendar settings and make sure its set to sync all of the calendar events and not just for a certain amount of time. Let us know if this was it.
