Logging into I Cloud?

Hi all,
My wife has a new IPAD 11. The old IPAD was backed up to I Tunes and the cloud.
We transferred everything from the old one to the new one using WiFi.
Can someone tell us how to go into I Cloud to see the backed up photos from the old IPAD??

Provided the photos were backed up to iCloud (setting in Photos), the photos should appear in their own App once you have fully downloaded the backup to the new iPad.

Theirs many things new on this IPAD 11 that weren't on our older ones!
No headphone jack!!
No home button.
Need an adapter to plug it into the desktop windows for ITunes backup!!
I'm still using my IPAD 5. It's the wife who has the new 11!! Getting used to it.
