iPad owners who also happen to have one of GoPro’s rugged HERO cameras might want to check out the updated Livestream for iOS app. The latest version of the livestreaming application has added GoPro camera support. This means that whatever you are doing, you can now broadcast it in real-time online on your iPad or iPhone.

You’ll first need to connect your iPhone or iPad to the GoPro HERO’s personal Wi-Fi network. After the two are paired, you can broadcast for as long as the two devices are in range and you have a steady 4G connection. Most likely, a 3G connection isn't strong enough to support the live streaming.

Version 3.8 also brings a camera lock feature to avoid accidental touches while streaming and an improved broadcasting experience.

With the Livestream app for iOS, you can watch live local news, sports, music, conferences and thousands of other events broadcasting live from all over the world. It's also possible to follow your friends and get notified when they go live.

You can send a link via Facebook, Twitter, text message or email to invite friends to watch live. Go ahead and follow the link from below to download the free app for yourself.
