Live feed to ipad?

I have just joined your forum and find it quite informative. I am a long time iphone user and have just purchased a 4th Gen ipad. I have mounted the ipad in my F350 via a Pad Holdr Edge Series mount.
My question is......can "live feed" from my Oregon Scientific ATC 9K forward mounted camera, to the ipad?
I would like to be able to use the ipad as a monitor and recording device.
I am wondering if I can use the lightning to USB adapter to make it work.
Does anyone have any experience with a similar application?

There is no physical video in on the iPad, so any video would have to be streamed to it via wifi, using an appropriate app. There are some web cam apps that do the job.

I am not familiar with your camera set-up so I cannot comment on how doable it is with your current gear.
