Keyboard in center of screen

In mail my wife's keyboard is in the center of the screen. As she types the text is lost behind the keyboard and can't be seen.
I have tried splitting the keyboard, it splits but still in middle of screen. The mini will not rotate in mail but rotates fine with other apps.

I have done a hard reboot and makes no difference.

Found out how to fix in search. Panicked she's leaving for a trip to visit mother and needed mini

Glad you found your solution. And, thanks for updating us - always good to hear a problem has been fixed.

For those curious as to what you did - press and hold the key with a keyboard icon on it (lower rightmost key). One of the pop-up options will be to "Dock." Selecting the option will put the keyboard back where it "belongs."

As this has been solved (and we do appreciate the update!), and to prevent duplication, this thread is closed. Thanks for your understanding.
