Keeps Crashing

I have what I think is an iPad one, it is model MB293LL and the OS is 5.1.1 (9B206).

The issue I have is that a lot of the apps keep crashing, even rmail. I have gone thru the procedure from the Apple site to return it to factory default and then reloaded just a few apps. The results are still the same.

Where would I go with this problem now?

The problem might be the low memory that the first iPad has. Have you tried to close out all of your apps in the background? That might help.

Oh yes I clear those apps in the background out regularly.
