New to the apple/ipad mini world and lovin' it so far. But I am wondering if I can directly hook up to my TV with a lightning to HDMI cable or do I need to get Apple TV/AirPlay to watch a movie I rented from iTunes?
any help would be appreciated. jj

Yes, either solution will work but for me the ease of using the Apple TV can't be beaten.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
