Would very much appreciate any help with the following problem, please.
I have just upgraded my iPad2 from iOS 6.1 to 9.2 ...
iTunes has suddenly started ignoring various settings and is downloading music automatically to the iPad.
It is re-downloading things I have deleted from the iPad - it does this repeatedly!
And it is refusing to copy items to the iPad when I manually drag them there.
I looked through the iTunes settings on my MacBook, which are as follows:
1. Preferences > Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically ... checked
2. Rick's iPad > Settings > Summary > Manually update music and video ... checked
3. Rick's iPad > Settings > Music > Sync Music ... unchecked
This has worked absolutely fine under iOS 6.1 for years.
Can anybody explain why it's now behaving differently under iOS 9.2 ?
Thanks.
[EDIT: Sorry. To be completely accurate I should have said iOS 9.2.1 (just in case anyone suggests I install the 'patch' - it's already done. And in case it's relevant: iPad is NOT jailbroken.]
