I'm not trying to promote or anything, ( note: in no way affiliated with product) but maybe try looking at a 'soundjaw'.? It's supposed to amplify sound.

Apologies if post is out of order.

I Googled this and I don't have the iPad2, I have the first one.

"SoundJaw is a small plastic widget that fixes one of the worst things about the iPad 2"

Have you tried Volume Boost? It's a free app for iPhone and iPad works great on my iPad2.

This app has some of the most universally negative reviews of any app I have ever seen!

I just tried it and there isn't a difference.:(. Of course I probably don't know what I am doing. I just put the volume all the way up?

One thing I did was set my equaliser on, treble booster within will help somewhat as will vocal booster...I think that's what it is called

Equalizer? Treble booster? Are these in the app?

Go into your Settings-iPod-EQ

I'm using ipad2 but I'm sure you will have the same settings!

LOL!

You know what I was just thinking? Probably not, but here it is anyway.:D

If I had spent however much movies are, $15?....and could not hear it? I would be hella mad.

Thank goodness I don't watch movies and my iPad has served me well and I love it. I just want to hear news videos.:(

No, I don't think so. All my games are very loud and even Youtube is loud. As is Xfinity.

I am trying a preview of a few movie now in iTunes. Pretty low.:(

Strange huh?
